PHOENIX -- The Buford girls basketball team picked up its first victory at the Nike Tournament of Champions on Wednesday in Arizona, defeating St. John's College (Washington D.C.) 64-63.
Kaela Davis led the Lady Wolves (6-2) with 25 points in the win. McKenzie Darrah also scored 12, while Kristina Nelson added 10 points.
Buford dropped its first two contests at the tournament in Phoenix and will play one more game, taking on St. Mary's Academy (Stockton, Calif.) at noon Thursday.
