DEMOREST -- White County opened the game with a 21-2 run and then cruised to a 50-35 win over Banks County Saturday in the consolation round of the Piedmont Holiday Classic.
The Warriors (4-6) led 13-2 after the first quarter. banks County used a 13-10 run over the final minutes of the second quarter to close the gap to 31-15 by halftime. White County pushed its lead to 45-25 heading into the fourth quarter.
White County was led in scoring by Andrew London with 15 points and Rand Rowland with 13.
Banks County (4-6) was paced by Gatlyn Boswell with 14 points.
