'Shop with a Cop'

GAINESVILLE -Gainesville police officers went shopping with some needy youngsters Friday.

It ws the department's 9th annual "Shop with a Cop" outing and took place at Walmart on Shallowford Road.

Spokesman Kevin Holbrook said more than a dozen families in need this Christmas were helped. Cash donations from Walmart -Mart and the Rotary Club of Gainesville helped make it possible this year.
