GAINESVILLE - A Gainesville couple was arrested Wednesday and charged with burglary after they were found taking a nap at the house they were burglarizing.
Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks of the Hall County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a call in the 2500 block of Miller Drive in East Hall about 9:00 to a report of a burglary in progress.
"...deputies learned that a property owner had discovered a suspicious vehicle at a residence that he owns, but is no longer occupied," Sgt. Wilbanks said. "Deputies entered the residence, and in a back bedroom discovered a male and a
female asleep on a bed. Items from the home had been staged near the doorway, apparently in preparation to be stolen as they exited."
Wilbanks said deputies arrested 33-year-old Kenneth Dwayne Lee and 38-year-old April Lynn Morris without incident and booked them into the Hall County Jail, where they were charged with Burglary.
