OAKWOOD -- Lyndsey Pethel had 12 points and seven rebounds but it wasn't enough to carry Johnson past Winder-Barrow Tuesday night.
The Lady Bulldoggs held Johnson to just two points int he first quarter en route to a 43-31 win in girls basketball action.
Winder led 10-2 after the first quarter but Johnson used a 12-10 second quarter to trail just 20-14 at halftime. Winder held Johnson to five third quarter points to increase its lead to 28-19 heading into the fourth quarter. The Lady Bulldoggs outscored Johnson 15-12 in the final period to put the game away.
Ryleigh Shannon and Carlie Doster had five points apiece for Johnson.
