GSC graduates nearly 600

GAINESVILLE - Nearly 600 students at Gainesville State College were eligible to participate in Summer and Fall graduation Saturday.

A total of 584 Bachelor and Associate Degree and Certificate candidates were eligible to participate in two ceremonies.

Graduation candidates from the schools of Business, Education, Health and Wellness participated in the morning ceremony.

The afternoon ceremony was for graduates of the schools of Humanities and Fine Arts, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and School of Social Sciences.

The ceremonies included students from both the Gainesville and Oconee Gainesville State College campuses.

A total of 30 students graduated with honors. The following individuals had the highest GPA in his/her degree area.
