ATLANTA -- West Hall held Westminster scoreless in the second quarter en route to a 54-37 win on the road Friday night.
The Lady Spartans (2-6) opened the game with a 19-9 first quarter but outscored the Lady Wildcats 12-0 in the second quarter to pull away.
West Hall led 44-20 heading into the fourth quarter.
Brooke Reed and Kaelyn Gattis each had nine points to lead West Hall. Summer Schmeltz added eight points, and Jessica Dambach and Tori Alfredsson had six apiece for the Lady Spartans.
Westminster was paced by Catherine Johnston with 18 points and Andi Carrandi with 13.
West Hall next will play host to Class AAAAA Mountain View on Saturday at 4 p.m.
