CLEVELAND -- The Truett-McConnell men's basketball team overwhelmed Reinhardt University 91-79 on Tuesday night in Cleveland.
Anthony Dorsey led the Bears assault with 27 points, and 10 rebounds followed by 21 from Bernard Nugent. Rod Bombard also scored 18 for Truett-McConnell.
The Bears pulled out of a 39-39 scoreline after halftime, holding the Eagles to 37 percent shooting in the second half. Truett-McConnell also shot 50 percent from the field for the game, including four second-half 3-pointers from Bombard.
Truett will travel to face Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn., on Friday to rematch after dropping a contest to the Lions earlier this season.
