Under the Bridge Ministries continues coat, blanket drive

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville's Under the Bridge Ministry is continuing a coat and blanket drive through the middle of December.

Last week, Jazzercise Gainesville Fitness Center and Jazzercise Braselton collected a truckload of coats and blankets to help the ministry during the holidays.

Canned foods are also being collected, according to organizer Colleen Manji.

"The items can be dropped off at either Jazzercise Gainesville Fitness Center, 199 John Morrow Parkway/Dawsonville Highway, Gainesville...or at Jazzercise Braselton at Celebration Church, 5560 Thompson Mill Road," Manji said.

"For their donation, they get a coupon for a free Jazzercise class. The items will be donated by Under the Bridge Ministry to the area poor. The ministry took a truckload that we collected on Thanksgiving to nine area trailer parks."
