UNDATED - Early voting ends Friday for two state Legislative runoffs in the Gainesville area.
One involves the District 25 state House seat in Hall County which James Mills of Gainesville vacated Oct. 1 after his appointment to the state Board of Pardons and Paroles. Bobby Banks and Emory Dunahoo are the candidates.
The other is the race for the District 50 state Senate post which Jim Butterworth gave up earlier this year when he was named by Gov. Nathan Deal to the top post in the Georgia National Guard. That district includes Habersham County and all or parts of several other counties in northeast Georgia. The candidates in that race are Rick Austin and John Wilkinson.
The runoffs will be held next Tuesday.
