GAINESVILLE - The developer of a 36-lot subdivision planned in South Hall is requesting changes to some of the zoning conditions for the 44-acre tract.
Breedlove Homes goes before the Hall County Planning Commission Dec. 5 to ask for the changes.
Mark Lane, GIS Manager for the county, said "the following changes are being requested to the zoning conditions for the Breedlove Homes site on Lee Land Rd," adding, "these conditions were part of the zoning approval of this site in October 2007."
*Reduce the minimum lot size on 16 of the 36 lots from 1 acre to 35,000 sq. ft. (The overall lot density remains the same)
*Reduce the home size from 2,200 to 1,500 sq. ft.
*Eliminate the condition prohibiting vinyl siding.
*Eliminate the requirement for sidewalks.
The land in question is near the intersection of Lee Land Road and Commander Drive.
