GPD looking for theft suspect

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for questioning regarding a theft case.

"(We are looking for) a female subject who knowingly used a stolen debit card at numerous stores and locations around the City of Gainesville," spokesman Kevin Holbrook said. "The incident occurred between April 17, 2011 and April 18, 2011."

Holbrook said pictures of the suspect "have just recently become available to investigators who have been attempting to identify the subject. It is believed that the subject either lives locally or frequents the area, so someone should be able to assist in identifying her."
