GAINESVILLE - The Christmas season officially arrived in downtown Gainesville Thursday night with the annual Jingle Mingle.
It featured three hours of holiday magic, sponsored by the chamber of commerce and Main Street Gainesville.
Included were Santa, caroling, a kiddie train and the lighting of the Christmas Chicken atop Main Street Market.
