Hawks named Boys & Girls Clubs' Youth of the Year

GAINESVILLE - Alexis Hawks was introduced last night as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County's "Youth of the Year" at an awards banquet that was keynoted by Gov. Nathan Deal.

The ninth annual event was held at the Gainesville Civic Center.

Hawks is a six-year member of the Club. She has been a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs since she was eleven years old. She attributes much of her success in school and future aspirations to the life lessons she learned while at the Clubs.
