No one injured in S. Hall wreck

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor
UNDATED - A weather-related accident shut down a section of I-985 Wednesday night.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office says it happened near the Wade Orr Road bridge about 6:30 when a car hydroplaned and hit a guardrail.

There were no injuries.

The rain at the time was left over from a storm system that moved through Georgia earlier in the day.

One man was killed in Forsyth County when a tree fell on his SUV, there were scattered power outages, trees were down in several places in Hall County, and Harris County, near LaGrange, appears to have been the hardest hit area in the state. (See separate stories.)
