Another attempt planned at legalizing guns on Ga. college campuses

CANTON - A Georgia lawmaker says he's going to make another attempt at getting the state Legislature to approve a law allowing guns on college campuses in Georgia.

Cherokee County Republican Sean Jurgenson tells Fox 5 it's in response to a number of recent attacks against students at colleges and universities in Atlanta.

Similar efforts to legalize firearms on Georgia college campuses have failed in recent legislative sessions.
