GA Democrats to hold briefing on immigration law

ATLANTA - A group of Democratic state senators plans to hold a public briefing to discuss Georgia's new law targeting illegal immigration.

Sen. Curt Thompson has set the meeting for Tuesday afternoon at the state Capitol. The Democrat from Tucker says the briefing will include discussion on data collected on the law.

Thompson says other Democratic state senators will be present, as well as representatives from various interest groups.
