TOCCOA - U.S. Representative Paul Broun, M.D. (GA-10) will hold "Congress on the Square" in three North Georgia towns starting Tuesday. Members of Broun's staff will set up mobile offices next week in Habersham, Hart and Franklin counties.
"It is my pleasure to bring 'Congress on the Square' to Georgians in their own local communities," said Broun.
"This is an opportunity for them to learn information about national current events or receive assistance with a federal agency, such as the IRS, Social Security, the Veterans Administration and Medicare. Although I can't override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape. So I urge Georgians to attend an upcoming 'Congress of the Square' to meet with members of my congressional staff."
