FLOWERY BRANCH - Spout Springs Elementary School marked Veterans Day Friday with a "Heroes' Breakfast" and other events for veterans and active duty military personnel and the school family.
The breakfast was followed by a "Heroes Walk" during which the honorees walked the halls of the Flowery Branch school while students, staff and parents showed their gratitude for their service.
The observance ended with a "Flag Dedication Ceremony," featuring the East Hall High School Junior ROTC Color Guard.
