GAINESVILLE - The students and faculty of Lanier Charter Career Academy are making plans for The Lighting of the Oaks, a "community family event" they hope will become a holiday tradition in Hall County.
The Lighting of the Oaks will be held on December 3 from 4:00-9:00.
Musicians and choral groups from around the Hall County and North Georgia area will be featured. Local crafters will also be displaying their talents just in time for holiday gift-buying.
Booths in the craft fair area are still available with early registration for $30. Booth rental proceeds go to support DECA students in leadership opportunities at the state and national level. Musical performance time slots are available free of charge.
