WHSS captures AAA One-Act-Play state championship

OAKWOOD - The Spartan Players production of The Spitfire Grill won the
2011 GHSA AAA State Championship in One-Act Play over the weekend.

This is the 3rd State Title for the Spartan Players, whose previous state titles came in 1994 and 1996.

In addition, Victoria Wallis won Best Actress in the state for her performance as Percy.

The Spartan Players are directed by WHHS drama teacher Sarah Lindahl, who, last
spring, was named Drama Teacher of the Year at the annual Thespian Conference in
Columbus.
