3 Georgia State students robbed in past 4 days

ATLANTA - Police say three Georgia State University students have been robbed on or near the downtown Atlanta campus since Sunday night.

One of the crimes happened at 11 p.m. Sunday in a parking deck, where a student said he parked one space away from a pickup truck occupied by four men. The student told police that three of them approached him, choked him, kicked him repeatedly and stole his backpack.

In addition, a female student told police that a teenage male snatched a cell phone from her along Kimball Way shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The third crime occurred around noon Wednesday near Piedmont and Auburn avenues, when a GSU student said two males ran up behind him, pushed him down and took money from his wallet.
