GAINESVILLE - Hall County Animal Control will hold an auction today for a paint horse that has been impounded for running loose. The horse is a yearling Dun Overo Paint filly.
The guidelines for the auction are as follows:
1. The auction will be a sealed bid auction. Bidders will submit an offer for the filly with including name, address, and contact information.
2. The deadline for sealed bids is noon today.
3. Bids will be opened after 1:00 this afternoon, and notifications will be made to the winner before 5:00.
4. The winner of the auction will need to make arrangements to pick up the animal tomorrow.
