The same four area programs remained in the latest Associated Press high school football rankings, released Tuesday.
Buford, Flowery Branch, Gainesville and North Gwinnett are each among their respective top 10s.
The Wolves (9-0, 3-0 Region 6A-AA) have been No. 1 in Class AA all season and maintained that spot again this week after squashing No. 4 Greater Atlanta Christian 28-0 last week. Buford will take a bye this week before playing in the Region 6-AA championship on Nov. 4.
The Falcons (8-0, 8-0 Region 8-AAAA) remained at No. 3 in Class AAAA after a 49-21 defeat of Loganville last week. Flowery Branch will play host to Salem in its final home game of the regular season on Friday.
The Red Elephants (7-1, 4-0 Region 8B-AAA) moved up one spot to No. 8 in Class AAA after sealing a spot in the Region 8-AAA championship game with last week's 48-0 defeat of Walnut Grove. Gainesville will travel to West Hall this Friday before playing host to the 8-AAA title bout on Nov. 4.
The Bulldogs (7-1, 5-0 Region 7-AAAAA) also stayed at No. 7 in Class AAAAA after a 29-7 win over Mill Creek last week. North Gwinnett will travel to face Duluth on Friday.
