2 Clermont men charged with stealing air conditioning units

CLEVELAND - White County Sheriff Neal Walden reports the arrests of two Clermont men in connection with the theft of air conditioning units.

Walden said 27-year old Joshua Lynn Rogers and 43-year old Robert Michael Kuswa were arrested earlier this month and sheriff's department investigators have been working since then to piece together evidence in the case.

Walden said following information developed by his investigators both men were charged with five counts of theft by taking and Rogers also faces charges in Habersham County. Kuswa remains in the White County Detention Center, Rogers is in custody in Habersham County.

According to Walden, the investigation is ongoing and possible other charges could be filed.
