Volleyball: North Hall knocked out of Sweet 16 at Sandy Creek

TYRONE -- The North Hall volleyball team missed out on a second straight trip to the Elite Eight on Tuesday, suffering a 3-0 loss at the hands of Sandy Creek in Tyrone.

The Lady Trojans (25-21) fell 25-13, 25-17 and 25-15 in the Class AAA Sweet 16, ending their season.

McKenna Rushton helped pace North Hall with five kills and four blocks in the match, while Kristina Gregory had eight assists, two aces. Sarah Paschall also chipped in with eight digs and four blocks, and Mary Kate Rushton had two kills. Sydney Cleveland recorded one kill, five digs and one block;
Madison Copeland had one block and one kill; Allie Staub had four digs; and Analiese Jones had four digs.
