GAINESVILLE - The principal at Sardis Elementary School (Sardis Enrichment School) plans to retire December 1.
Hall Co. Schools Supt. Will Schofield says the search for a replacement for Jan Hughes is already underway.
Hughes has been principal at Sardis the past five years.
