2nd possible candidate for cong. race; 2 announced candidates deliver fund-raising reports

UNDATED - Another possible candidate for the 9th District Congressional seat has emerged.

The Athens Banner-Herald is reporting that Jackson County Commission Chairman Hunter Bicknell is considering jumping into the race.

As we reported last week, former Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Cliff McDuffie is also testing the waters before deciding whether to run.

Meanwhile, the paper reports that of the two already announced candidates, former state Rep. Doug Collins has raised $112,000 so far for his campaign, and radio talk show host Martha Zoller reports raising $30,000.
