One person airlifted from Dahlonega Highway accident

MURRAYVILLE - One person was airlifted from the scene of a single car crash on Dahlonega Highway in Hall County Sunday morning.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the accident occured around 3:30 am, on Dahlonega Highway at Twin Oaks. The vehicle overturned, ejecting the occupant.

The injured person was airlfted to Grady Hospital with serious injuries.

The identity of the injured party was not immediately available.

Both lanes of Dahlonega Highway were blocked for 30-45 minutes.
