Another arrest made in burglary of Cumming jewelry store

CUMMING - A sixth person has been arrested in connection with a jewelry store burglary last month in Cumming.

Forsyth County Sheriff's officials said 32-year-old Christopher Lamar Funderburk of Fairburn was arrested Wednesday at his home for his part in the burglary of Milano Fine Jewelry.

Thompson is being held without bond in the Forsyth County Detention Center on burglary and theft by taking charges.

Forsyth Sheriff's Lt. Col. Gene Moss said the arrest is the result of the ongoing investigation into the jewelry store heist.

"As the investigation continues, it is becoming more apparent that this group is very organized," Moss said. He said there is evidence that Funderburk was at the scene of the burglary.

Others arrested and charged in the case include Carl Henry Bowser, III, 26, of Atlanta and Kenardis Demaine Holloway, 31, of Smyrna. They were arrested on Sept. 27 and 28. Later the same week, Amanda Hogan, 27, Michael T. Holloway, 35, and Connie Holloway, 52, all of Smyrna, were arrested. Kenardis Holloway and Michael Holloway are brothers. Connie Holloway is their mother.
