Tuesday last day to register to vote Nov. 8

ATLANTA - Voter registration ends this week for people wishing to vote in the November 8 elections in Georgia.

That includes the special state House and Senate elections in northeast Georgia and the 100-or so referendums planned that day on Sunday alcohol sales in cities and counties all over Georgia. Many city elections will be held November 8th as well... and Tuesday is also the deadline to register to vote in those elections.

Qualifying closed several weeks ago for the city elections and last week for the state House and Senate races.
