Volleyball: GAC sweeps Buford in 4-AA/A finals

NORCROSS -- Buford was swept by No. 2 Greater Atlanta Christian Saturday in the finals of the Area 4-AA/A Tournament.

GAC (37-4) beat the Lady Wolves in three games 25-9, 25-18, 25-10 and the Lady Spartans have now won 2 straight matches without dropping a single game.

Buford (23-13) will be the No. 2 seed from 4-AA/A and will play host to a first round match on Wednesday in the Class AA/A state tournament.

Maggie Roper had six kills and 14 digs and Jessica Falletta had six kills and nine digs for the Lady Wolves. Bailey Hicks added 12 assists for Buford.

Roper, Falletta, and Hicks each were named to the All-Area team.
