LSU holds off No. 20 Georgia women, 47-41

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Katherine Graham had 14 points and Adrienne Webb added 11 and LSU held off No. 20 Georgia 47-41 on Sunday.

Jasmine Hassell led Georgia with 16 points. The loss dropped Georgia (16-5, 6-2 SEC) into a second-place conference tie with No. 17 Kentucky.

LSU (15-8, 5-4) started out cold in the second half, missing 17 of its first 19 shots. The Lady Tigers' drought allowed Georgia to close to 31-30 on a basket by Jasmine James.

The Lady Bulldogs had several chances to tie or take the lead, but failed to convert.

LSU led 27-21 at halftime as Georgia managed just eight field goals while turning the ball over nine times.
