DALTON -- No. 2 Dalton put the clamps on Chestatee's Peyton Robertson en route to a 42-23 win over the sixth-ranked Lady war Eagles Saturday.
Robertson was held to under six points in Chestatee's lowest offensive output of the season.
Sophomore Sam Brown had six points and six rebounds for the Lady War Eagles (17-4) who came into the week with just two losses. They have now lost two of their last three games.
Brooke Peck scored six points for Chestatee, which will play host to Franklin County on Tuesday in a critical region 8A-AAA subregion game.
The Lady War Eagles are tied with North Hall for the subregion lead and are just 1 1/2 games ahead of Franklin with just four games remaining, two against the Lady Lions.
