Girls basketball: No. 1 Wesleyan knocks off No. 2 Buford

BUFORD -- Class AA No. 2-ranked buford saw its nine-game win streak come to an end in a 48-37 loss to Class A No. 1 Wesleyan Saturday night at home.

The loss for the Lady Wolves (16-2) was the first against a team in georgia this season. Their only other loss came against Riverdale, (Tenn.) in a Christmas tournament.

Kaela Davis had 14 points to pace Buford. Andraya Carter added nine points for Buford.
