Girls basketball: No. 2 Buford routs Clarkston; No. 1 Wesleyan up next

CLARKSTON -- No. 2 Buford opened the game with a 21-4 run and then cruised to a 53-23 rout of Clarkston in Region 6A-AA play Friday night.

Andraya Carter poured in 19 points to lead the Lady Wolves (16-1, 11-0 subregion). MacKenzie Darrah added 11 points for Buford.

The Lady Wolves will play host to Class A No. 1 Wesleyan (19-2) on Saturday.
