DAWSONVILLE -- Class AA No. 10 East Hall rallied from an early first quarter deficit to whip Dawson County 61-39 Friday night in Region 8A-AA action.
The Vikings trailed 14-6 after the first period but used a 21-4 second quarter grab the lead and take control of the game. They would hold Dawson County to just nine points in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
Joshua Hampton led East Hall (14-5, 5-0 in subregion) with 10 points. Hayden Chapman added nine for the Vikings.
Dawson County (13-6, 2-4) saw its two-game winning streak come to and end.
jacob Evans led the Tigers with 14 points.
