ATHENS -- The Lakeview Academy boys have begun to hit their stride.
The Lions won their third straight game Friday night beating Prince Avenue 47-34 on the road.
Lakeview (9-9, 3-1 in Region 8A-A) has now won six of its last eight games overall after a brutal schedule to open the season.
Austin Pearson paced the Lions with 11 points. Austin Montgomery scored eight points and Jackson Wells seven for Lakeview.
Legendary coach Seth Vining will go for his 700th win Tuesday night when Lakeview plays host to Social Circle.
