Volleyball: Lady Falcons hold off Heritage

CONYERS -- Flowery Branch won for the fifth time in its last six matches Thursday after beating Heritage in a tough three-game match.

The two teams split the first two games before the Lady Falcons (18-8) won the deciding third game.

Alexis Love paced the offense with six kills. Katherine McMillin added three kills and six digs and Becky Benton had three kills for the Lady Falcons. Brittani Hill had 13 assists.

Flowery Branch will finish the regular season Monday on the road against North Hall before opening the Region 8-AAAA Tournament on Thursday at Cedar Shoals.
