GAINESVILLE - If the aroma of coffee was a bit more prevalent on Gainesville's southside Thursday afternoon, a small fire at St. Ives Coffee Roasters was probably the reason.
The fire fire occurred in one of the large roasters at Dorsey Street site.
Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said city and county firefighters answered the call about 2:45.
"The fire appears to be contained to the roaster machine and has not extended or damaged the structure itself," Kimbrell said.
