CLERMONT - Members of the parent-teacher organization at Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy have been busy over the summer constructing an outdoor ampitheater for the school, and it's scheduled to be completed this weekend.

"It gives our school a place to launch productions, hold classes and do anything outside on a pretty day that you can do inside the classroom," said PTO President Ken Stanley.

Stanley said they began the work on July 7 and have worked at least one day each weekend since.

He said the structure also includes concrete paths to give kids with physical challenges the opportunity to participate.

The amphitheater is part of a larger "Secret Garden" project to improve the outdoor area at the school.
