MT. AIRY -- Despite 213 yards and two touchdowns from Kevin Ellison, Habersham Central was no match for Class AAAA No. 2-ranked Clarke Central Friday night.
Clarke Central racked up 458 total yards for the game and held the Raiders (0-4) scoreless in the first half while building a 14-0 lead. The Gladiators then used a 17-point third quarter to blow the game open.
Habersham trailed 31-0 before kevin scored his first TD in the third quarter.
The Raiders will play host to Madison County next week.
