COMMERCE -- Class AAA tenth-ranked West Hall snapped a four-match losing streak with a pair of wins Thursday in girls volleyball action.
The Lady Spartans (13-9) Rabun County 25-16, 25-15 and then knocked off host East Jackson 25-22, 25-14 in two games.
The Lady Spartans were defensively led by senior Nicolette Ashley with 22 digs. Laykin Herford amassed 39 assists for the evening while Laneisha Kearce had 16 kills and Stephanie Rowland had nine kills.
