Volleyball: East Hall splits with AAAA teams

MT. AIRY -- The East Hall girls volleyball team earned a split in two matches against Class AAAA teams habersham Central and Salem Thursday.

The Lady Vikings (2-16) lost the first match in a tough three sets 25-23, 21-25, 25-20 to host Habersham Central. In the second match, East Hall swept Salem 25-20, 25-12 to earn the split.

Brittney Campbell had a huge night for East Hall with 23 points on serve to go with three aces, 30 assists, and four digs. Andrea Harris had 24 points on serve with eight aces and four kills, and Tarryn Long had 10 kills, nine digs and one block for the Lady Vikings.

Kara Hix had two aces, four kills, four digs and one assist, Tatiana Castillo added 12 kills, five digs and one assist, and Kayla Croy had four aces and three kills for East Hall.
