Work begins on State Rte 20 in Buford

BUFORD - Resurfacing of an almost 6-mile stretch of State Route 20 in Buford begins tonight.

State DOT workers will be resurfacing a 5.7 mile section of the highway from I-85 to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The road work will take place overnights from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.

The $3.1 million project is expected to be finished by March 2011 if weather conditions permit.
