Cross country: Johnson teams finish strong at Banks County

HOMER -- The Johnson boys cross country team finished second overall Thursday in a five-team meet at Banks County.<br /> <br /> The Knights were led by Eric Plascencia, who finished fourth overall, and Jose Perez, who finished fifth inthe individual standings. <br /> <br /> The Johnson girls team finished in 4th, and had a strong showing from Emily Byers, who finished 10th overall. <br /> <br /> The Knights next will run Tuesday at the War Eagle Invitational at Chestatee.
