GBI still quiet about death of 3-year-old

DAHLONEGA - The GBI still keeping quiet - for the most part - about the death of a 3-year-old Lumpkin County boy over the weekend.

Law enforcement officials have been reluctant to release any information concerning the toddler's death until autopsy results have been released.

GBI agent Kimberly Williams confirmed Monday the agency was asked to assist the Lumpkn County Sheriff's office in the investigation Sunday morning.

Tuesday, Williams said the agency won't have any information for a few days.

Williams has declined to say if foul play was suspected.
