Volleyball: No. 8 North Hall opens 8-AAA play with sweep

WALNUT GROVE -- The North Hall girls volleyball team swept a pair of Region 8-AAA contests Tuesday on the road.

The Class AAA eighth-ranked Lady Trojans knocked off host Walnut Grove 25-22, 25-11 and then beat Monroe Area 25-16, 25-16 in the second match.

Kathryn Bell had a huge day setting up the offense with 26 assists an added four kills. Sarah Paschall had 12 digs, three kills, four assists, four aces, and a 17 point service run at one stretch.

Tess Patton had eight kills, one block, and two aces and Madison Copeland added nine kills for North Hall (9-4, 2-0 in region).

North Hall next plays at home on Thursday in a pair of matches against West Forsyth and fellow Region 8-AAA opponent Johnson.
