ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta police say they have still not determined what triggered a bomb scare Monday at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Police spokesman Otis Redmond says a suspicious package was found in a piece of luggage at a curbside check-in area Monday morning. Dispatchers said it looked like a pipe bomb.
Redmond says the bomb squad removed the luggage from the area.
Late Monday police said they believe that the luggage contained something, but officials aren't sure what.
The airport was not evacuated and traffic wasn't effected.
