ATLANTA - The unemploymnet rate in northeast Georgia is down two-tenths of a percent.
The state Department of Labor reported Thursday morning that the jobless rate in the region fell to 9.2 percent in July.
Of the counties we track each month, only Gwinnett and Jackson showed increases... one-tenth of a percent in each. The rate in Gwinnett is now 9.2 percent. In Jackson, it is 11.1.
The jobless rate remained unchanged in Rabun and Banks... while it is down a tenth of a percent in Hall to 9.1 percent.
